How do I create a deck?

Tap the "+" button on the main screen. Enter a deck name, choose your source language (what you know) and target language (what you're learning). You can customize study settings like cards per session, new cards per day, and timer options.

How does AI deck generation work?

Open a deck and tap "Generate with AI". Describe your topic (e.g., "kitchen vocabulary", "business English"), select CEFR level (A1-C2), and choose how many cards you want (up to 50). AI creates complete flashcards with translations, synonyms, example sentences, and explanations.

How does the learning mechanism work?

VocaBuilder+ uses FSRS (Free Spaced Repetition Scheduler) - a scientifically-proven algorithm that calculates the optimal time to review each card. Cards move through states: New → Learning → Review. After each review, rate your recall (Again/Hard/Good/Easy) and the algorithm schedules the next review to maximize retention while minimizing study time.

What are the subscription limits?

Free users get 2 decks, 50 cards per deck, and 60 AI requests per day. Premium subscribers enjoy unlimited decks, cards, and have extended limits on AI generations.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → VocaBuilder+ → Cancel Subscription.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Enter your password to confirm. This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be deleted including: decks, flashcards, study progress, review history, and subscription data.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Passwords are securely hashed, and your data is stored on encrypted servers. We don't share your personal information with third parties except for essential services (see Privacy Policy).
